Art Classes and Workshops

What do art and writing have to do with endurance training? Creativity is another avenue to connect with the landscape and explore new perspectives. We are excited to partner with local artists to provide a creative outlet in the upper valley, in our little hub in Mazama. Want to collaborate? Please email alison@cascadeendurance.com.

Murmurations Writing Group with Alison

Murmurations occur when a large group of birds, usually starlings, fly , swirl, and change direction together. This writing practice is similar. Using poetry as our entry point, this writing group offers a space to explore, be vulnerable, and form deep connections to the natural world, the others in the group, and ourselves.

The first eight-week class starts April 17th at 5:00pm-6:15pm. Only five spots!
