Our bodies want homeostasis, so you’ll be able to do more if you do it in the least stressful way possible. A friend and I who has also been in the fitness and health world forever were talking about the fad now of lifting heavy and eating protein. That’s not to say those things aren’t important, but they’re what are being focused on right now, just how barefoot running shoes were what everyone talked about 15 years ago. It’s always great to have something come into the forefront as it’s often something that needs more attention, and I think women’s health is that topic now. But there are still the same principles that apply, and it doesn’t have to be complicated like you might see in the news or social media. </p><p class="" style="color:inherit;font-size:.9375em;line-height:1.618em;margin:0 0 1.25em 0;font-weight:normal;font-family:'DejaVu Sans Condensed', 'Liberation Sans', 'Nimbus Sans L', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;letter-spacing:-.01em;">In that vein, for the easy workouts, that just means you can talk the whole time through it. Imagine being with your best friend you haven’t seen in a long time, and you want to catch them up on everything going on in your life. That’s also the vibe to go for.
